  • All-purpose flour

Easy Raisin Bran Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk
  • 2 cups Raisin Bran cereal

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.  In another bowl cream butter, sugar and eggs with mixer.  Add vanilla extract and milk then combine with dry ingredients using mixer.  Fold in bran flakes and nuts with spoon.  Drop by tablespoons on a sprayed cookie sheet.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.  Makes about 2 1/2 dozen depending on size you make your cookies.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, use a mixer to cream the butter, sugar and eggs. On low speed, add vanilla extract and milk and blend.
  • Combine with the dry ingredients in the large bowl, mixing thoroughly.
  • Slowly fold in the Raisin Bran cereal with large spoon or spatula.
  • Using a tablespoon, place 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls of cookie dough onto greased or parchment papered cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
